Marin Municipal Water District Rangers have a dream job. However, they work hard.

To ask them to step up enforcement is not considerate without giving them the tools they need. It is also not considerate to ask them to step up enforcement without an increase in their salary.

The MMWD needs access to new technology. The days of a radar gun and a ticket seem archaic now.

From the top of Mt. Tam you can see the entire Bay Area. Every corner of the Bay Area has smart people working on the next tech improvement. The tech improvement is what will be driving the economy in the years to come, well into 2040.

Let’s bring tech to enforcement and give the ranger’s new tools to make an impact. They are protecting our water up on the hill. That protection should be priority one.
