General Plan Working Groups have acknowledged that demographic trends, particularly those indicating significant growth in older and younger cohorts, call for more housing choices closer to services and activites and more transportation alterantives to the single-occupancy vehicle.

How can we close the gaps and create better links to walk and bike, and bring all parts of the City together through an efficient transporation network? Are there opportunities for mixed commercial and residential uses that are close to walk, bike and transit?
