We should study MALT (Marin Agricultural Land Trust www.malt.org) and also learn from the success of Kiddo! to determine if a Land Trust approach would help us preserve sites like Kite Hill, or the Mill Valley Lumber Yard, while enabling a reasonable return to developers who either own property that the Community would prefer to preserve (Kite Hill) or who might buy and develop sites that impact our downtown space (Mill Valley Lumber). We don't have much land left.
