Not only should we maintain the small town character and encourage diverse neighborhoods, we should get more aggressive about it! The diverse ages and races are being pushed out of town or selling out. Everyone seems to be in such a hurry tearing thru intersections in their fancy cars and bikes. What happened to the hardware stores? The writers? The musicians? The polite waves at stop signs? The full stop and taking turns? Maybe traffic calming devices would help. And that cop (who retired) who gave tickets for going 32 on Miller!
